Life-Long Learning status affords an opportunity for individuals to enroll in a few courses of specific interest to them without completing the regular application. Individuals applying to MUW as a Life-Long Learner may enroll in classes for academic credit, or they may audit courses (no academic credit is awarded).

Once admitted you will receive a letter of acceptance from the Office of Admissions and you are on your way. To register for the classes of interest call MUW Academic Advising at 662-329-7138 and they will assist you with registering for your classes.
Requirements and Restrictions for Life Long Learner Applicants:
- You must be 21 or older.
- Life-Long Learning students are not eligible for financial aid, scholarships or institutional grants.
- Students entering as Life-Long Learners may take the courses offered for credit, or they may audit the course.
- Individuals may not continue to enroll as a Life-Long Learner, after earning 21 semester hours of academic credits without special permission from the Provost.
- After completing 21 hours of classes for academic credit, students may be required to apply through the regular university admissions process.
- Classes taken not for credit (auditing) can not be applied to degree programs nor to the Executive Certificate Programs.
- Life Long Learners should refer to the university calendar for general admission deadlines.
Students who do not desire to seek a degree but are interested in taking courses for credit (with or without a grade) should apply for admission to MUW as a Lifelong Learner.
